Nu-jazz

I love this combination of a DJ or an electronic band plus a jazz trumpet player. I guess they call that nu-jazz. Here are some specific collaborations I found (following on my post Jazzzzzzzzzz!!):

  1. Miles Davis and Easy Mo Bee with the album Doo Bop.
  2. Nils Petter Molvaer with band (among others DJ Strangefruit).
  3. Eric Vloeimans and Banabila with the album VoizNoiz 3.
  4. Toshinori Kondi and DJ Krush with the album Ki-Oku.
  5. Erik Truffaz with band (albums Bending New Corners and The Dawn). He also did a concert recently with the Dutch band The Mirror Conspiracy.

    … The Mirror Conspiracy will also be playing with Toshinori Kondo as well… strating Saturday november 1st in The Spot, Middelburg

    Yeay, hahaha, that was why I posted this! But I forgot to mention it 😉

    I heard about the concert so I searched for music by Toshinori Kondi. I found the Ki-Oku album which I like very much.
